Adirondack Correctional Facility is located in Ray Brook New York.  It is a medium security correctional facility that houses adult males.  This prison can house up to 700 inmates and employs over 310 people.  Offenders can receive substance abuse and alcohol abuse treatment during their incarceration.

Adirondack Correctional Facility offers inmates vocational training in custodial maintenance, building maintenance, and carpentry.  The facility also operates a waste management program that recycles and composts old food to reduce the waste created at the prison and ultimately save money.  Offenders can also participate in an alternatives to violence program that teaches them to use communication and critical thinking as well as anger management techniques.

Visiting Hours at Adirondack Correctional Facility:

Inmates can have up to four visitors at a time (more under special circumstances and with prior approval).  Offenders have no limit on the number of allowable visits.  Visiting is Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 8am-3pm.  Processing for visitation ends at 2pm, you must arrive and be processed into the visiting area by 2pm or you will not be allowed to visit.
