Visiting an Inmate at David Wade Correctional Center

The Louisiana department of correction and rehabilitation encourages family and friends who serve as positive role models to communicate and visit with an inmate. This can help the inmate reintegrate with society when released.

Regular visiting days are Saturday and Sunday only. Visiting hours are between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. However, incoming visitors will not be admitted between 11:00 am and 11:30 am. Also, no visits will be started after 3:00pm. Only six (6) visitors will be allowed in the visiting room to visit an offender at any given time. There will be no visiting on a weekend in which the Sunday is the fifth Sunday of a month.

For more information or answers to any questions you may have contact the facility at the telephone number above.
