More information about Macon State Prison

My son is in Macon State Prison. Does anyone know anything on this prison up to date. Is it a real rough one or has it calmed down since all that BS happened couple of yrs ago? Its killing me with worry everyday and night.. Thank You for any feed back

Response to question

I know the feeling or desperate worry you carry daily. Let me tell you this ..tell your child to find God and start praying daily if he already haven't. If he doesnt know how ...u teach him how by writing him in a letter. I know you are praying for him religiously, but it not enough until he learns how to pray for himself.  Stop worrying and pray for him ...and leave all your worries in God's unchanging hands. If u pray and still worry that means u don't have faith in let go and let God !! I will pray for him myself along with my son. I used to be just like you until I started relating to the bible more. You don't have to do this but this is my way of coping with the situation. Just trying to help. The answer to your question ... No it haven't gotten any better..sorry. The best thing we can do is to continue to pray for them.

any answers

Just wondering if you ever got any kind of answer to this? My little brother was moved to Macon State a few months ago and I'm always worried about him getting hurt.

re: Food at Macon State Prison

The money that you put into an inmate's commissary account can be used to buy a variety of items, including food.  You asked is it better food, well it is different food then what is available through the cafeteria.  Inmate's can get candies, and a wider variety of foods that may or may not taste better.  They can also get hygenic products and at some facilities can even buy a tv/radio/cd player.
