Inmate Mailing Address:
Inmates may receive letters, and photos (no polaroids). Include the inmates full name and ID exactly as the mailing address above shows. If you know the housing information, include it after the ID number. Do not mark the envelope or letter in any way. Markings of any kind will result in the correspondence being returned (Lipstick, perfume, crayon art, drawings etc). Inmates may also receive New paperback books, magazines, newspapers or other printed matter mailed directly from Amazon.com: (Be sure to include the inmate name and ID number and send to the inmate mailing address above).
Family and friends of an inmate may send funds by United States Postal Money Order. Make payable to the inmate's full name and ID number, be sure to also include your full name, and complete address in the from and address lines of the money order.
There are two parts to an inmate account. The Reserve Account and Active Account. The reserve account has money an inmate may not spend. The Division set up this account so the inmate will have some funds when they are released. Some of the inmate's money goes into the reserve account automatically every month until the account reaches the set level.
Inmates may spend money from their active account. Money from relatives or other sources will go into the inmate’s active account. The inmate can use money from his or her active account to buy items from the commissary. An inmate may send money outside from their active account, but he or she must have approval to do so. An inmate needs special approval from the warden to send certain amounts of money.
